The AT-VIRTUAL project aims to accelerate the digitization of Maritime Safety Training Centres (MSTC’s) in the Atlantic Area (AA) in order to improve their operability and performance, through the introduction of new emerging Industry 4.0 (I4.0) related technologies. Digitalization is becoming an essential part of modern organization practices, since those organizations that are embracing digitalization are more efficient, competitive, and agile. According to this Tecnalia within the framework of the AT-VIRTUAL project has developed an “Action Plan on the Digitalization in MSTCs of the Atlantic Area” in order to support MSTCs and organizations in identifying what, why and how to implement 4.0 solutions.
